OWNERS’ REMARKS:
This Ferrari among great sailboats is a unique timeless jewel of the seven seas.
Red Max, built in the Netherlands, was ahead of its time in 1999 and still is in state of the art today.
The owner fell in love with the lines of het sistership “Warrior” at the time in Cape Town, now 25 years ago. Both the owner of the Warrior (same designer) as the owner of the Red Max have never sold their ship up till now! Definitely a result of the fantastic sailing caracteristics and therefore comfort and pleasure at sea.
Red Max, a super High Tech Sailing machine, bulletproof, safe, comfortafble and fast HP Cruiser according to latest demands and ready and totally equipped for racing, cruising or shorthanded Circumnavigation.
Plenty of manuals, never any major problems nor damage besides Red Max was rerigged in 2009 with brand new Carbon Hall Spars.
This carbon rig is now fully checked, will be sprayed with clear coat, with new rods and will be as new again.
This boat is a unique opportunity for an experienced sailor loving high tech, wishing to cruise happily with friends and or family.
She does need some upgrades, but the new owner can easily transfer Red Max according to his/her own demands.
Red Max is a functional, easy to handle, safe and very comfortable Ocean Cruiser.
Red Max has never failed me and my wife and has always performed for what it has been designed and built for, a wonderful shorthanded HP Ocean Cruiser.
My wife and I (58 and 77 years old) sailed Red Max just the two of us across the seven seas, including a circumnavigation of 8 years down under around Cape Horn, Pacific to New Zealand, Cape of Good Hope, the Caribbean, East coast of America, Nova Scotia and back home.
It's a unique set of characteristics that makes Red Max different from all the rest. In order to explain these qualities we made you a Photo Book and a Video so you can see and judge for yourselve..
